Delivery of Instruction

How do we make sure all students reach the degree of knowledge and skills they will need to be successful?  It is the quality of teachers and teaching in the classroom that has the greatest impact on higher standards of learning for all students (Marzano, 2007).  The role of teachers is to ensure that  teaching practices provide students with a high level of critical thinking, analysis, organizational skills, empathy, love for reading and the development of verbal and writing skills needed to become successful members of our society in the 21st Century.  Most importantly, teachers should make a positive difference in the life of every student who enters their classroom.

We hope the tips on delivery of instruction located in the sidebar will provide you with some additional resources to engage all students in challenging, meaningful work focused on significant learning goals and specific learning needs.
